Frequently Asked Questions Can I use one of your photos for my blog/web site? Most of the images on this site are available for licensing. You pay a one-time fee and are able to use the image you select for your web site, blog, or computer presentation. All of the images on this site are protected by copyright. What type of camera do you use? For the photos on this site I've used both a Canon Digital Rebel and a Polaroid digital 2300Z. Where are most of your images from? I have pictures from Denver, the Bay Area, and Kauai on this site. How did you get started in photography? It's been a hobby for me all of my life. My father is a hobby photographer and so is my mother-in-law. I've learned a lot from them. I've always been impressed with the way photographs capture the mood or personality of an object or place. I've learned photography mostly through trial and error with some book instruction. In most things I think hands-on learning is key. Why doesn't the image I bought look the same as it did when I viewed it on screen? Computer monitors are tricky and many are calibrated differently so it's difficult to tell exactly what an image will look like when it's printed. |
