Katrina Martin Davenport's
photography illuminates
the soul of nature. A
deep love and respect for nature informs her work. She's happiest working
with natural diffused light out in nature.
Katrina is a graduate student at JFK University in the Consciousness and Transformative Studies program. She graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 1999 with degrees in English and Journalism, and obtained a teaching license in 2003 from the University of Colorado at Denver.
WHY IS THE BUSINESS NAMED OCTOBER
PHOTOGRAPHY?
October is
by far Katrina's favorite month. The weather turns cooler, the leaves
change, and there is a special feeling of warmth and comfort in the air.
Halloween is still Katrina's favorite holiday. In colder climates the
trees turn to skeletons, one of Katrina's favorite photographic subjects.
And over the years, Katrina has noticed a pattern: that amazing things
happen in her life in October.
